Efficient management for residential and commercial properties/ranches/farms.

We are a family-owned business based in Washington County that has been performing tractor work for over thirty years. We specialize in providing assistance to small farm and ranching operations from 3 to 100 acres but are happy to assist with both smaller and larger operations, or residential/commercial open-field mowing. Our goal is to help you establish and maintain your land for hay production, livestock grazing, or perhaps just a clean, groomed appearance. Whether you have established pastures that need an occasional mowing, or you have purchased new land and are needing assistance restoring and maintaining it, we are here to help. Give us a call today to discuss how we can assist you, or to schedule a free quote.

PASTURE SHREDDING / BRUSH HOGGING
We recommend cutting fields and pastures at least 2 times per year to support pasture health and keep weeds under control. Regular mowing helps control weed spread by removing them before seed production, contributing to a healthier and more productive pasture. It is often integrated into grazing management strategies, preventing overgrazing and ensuring even utilization of the pasture. Additionally, regular mowing enhances the aesthetics of the property.

In some cases, a one-time mowing may be performed as part of seasonal maintenance. For instance, if the pasture has been left unattended for an extended period or has experienced rapid growth due to favorable weather conditions, a single mowing session can be conducted to bring the grass height under control and restore the pasture or property to a manageable state.

TREE TRIMMING / BRUSH REMOVAL / STORM CLEAN-UP
Whether you are needing your trees trimmed up or removed completely, we can assist. Pruning trees properly will allow younger trees to grow at a more favorable rate while strengthening their root system. This service is often performed when individuals are looking to improve the aesthetics of the property and can add significant value to the land. We also specialize in post-storm clean-up and can remove unwanted brush / debris from your property.

GRAVEL DRIVEWAY GRADING / REPAIR
If your gravel driveway is starting to show signs of wear and is in need of an overhaul, let us repair it without spending a bunch of money on additional road materials. Often times, we can re-level the gravel surface, remove any potholes, and get rid of the washboard effect by simply re-working the materials that have settled into the ground. If additional materials are needed, we can coordinate the delivery and spreading of these as well.

PASTURE RENOVATION / AERATION
If your land is not yielding the hay and grass quantities it once did, it may be due to soil compaction. A Pasture Renovator breaks up the compaction in your fields and allows for moisture and nutrients to penetrate deeper into the soil, enabling larger root structures to develop and generating taller, thicker growth at the top of the plant. As the strength of the grasses increase, the ability for weeds to grow and thrive will decrease.

DISCING
Discing a pasture with a tractor improves soil structure, boosts forage productivity, and helps control weeds - especially in our region where compaction and tough native grasses can limit growth. It helps by breaking up the surface, incorporating organic matter, and creating better conditions for natural regrowth. This process is most useful for pastures with heavy thatch, compaction, or poor water infiltration and/or fields that haven’t been worked in many years.

Pricing is dependent on several factors including the size of the property, the services requested, and the current condition of the land. For instance, to mow a 45-acre pasture that just needs its annual/semi-annual mowing could cost less than 15 acres that hasn't been mowed in several years. Because of different variables, we would like to briefly assess the land and services requested, and offer a free quote.
As with brush-hogging, the pricing is dependent on several factors including the size of the tree(s), whether the trees are being trimmed or completely taken down, and whether the limbs and debris are being removed from the property, or are being pushed into brush piles and burned on site. Because of different variables, we would like to discuss the request and possible options with you, and provide a free quote.
